about

Californian musician Joshua Allgood (guitarist in Psychedelic Jam Band Yukon Territorial Expansion) makes his way onto Wisteria with his Noise project, Synagogue of Satan, via his debut album, Man...Just Another Animal, Sometimes Better, More Often Worse Than...
The first track, "Adventures in Autism" is a droning, cathartic live performance, and the second track, "Scenes from an Ecstatic Visionary" is a sound collage of various abstract tones and textures. In Allgood's own words...
"This is an expression of my most repressed thoughts through an artistic medium. It represents all of the negativity inside me as I try to disregard my inner feelings for he pursuit of my life. It represents my fears that my ego is only a facade or a caricature of myself; an absurd personal to mask the incessant sensory overload. Much gratitude to the following figures and peers for impeding the culmination of this project: Friedrich Nietzsche, Ayn Rand (kinda, not too big a fan of hers tbh), Albert Camus, Harlan Ellison, Juntaro Yamanouchi, Keiji Haino, Kurt Vonnegut, Frank Zappa, Robert Fripp, Brian Eno, Steve Albini, Eddie Offord, Jared (and his brother Levi), Jake, Jon, Liam, Jackson, Michael, Brent, Sam C., Omar, Avalon, Marcus, The Chekardzhikov brothers, Mom, Dad, Radon, etc. etc. etc."
